Can someone please translate this latin story?

My Latin is a bit rusty but it chronicles the story of Hannibal of Carthage's attempt to invade a weakened Rome. Unfortunately Hannibal miscalculated and whilst crossing the Alps he did this in winter with his army that consisted of the famous elephants he lost many of his soldiers and by the time he reached Rome his army was severely depleted and he lost his quest. He found the Gauls to be hospitable and it is more of a reflection of this quest.
