Essential-Hard-Drive [Recovery]?

I bought a (WD My Book Essential 2tb) and it gave up on me after my 1 month. I need suggestions on cheap, but good data recovery websites, etc. I looked myself, and prices went from $200 - $700. I don't want to pay that much.
