Wifi problem,i cant make my win7 netbook into a wireless hotspot?!?

okay...i have 2 computers one is a notebook pc running windows vista and one netbook running windows7,i use my windows vista pc to make an ad-hoc connection and it works but when i use my netbook it doesnt work so then i tried a software called conectify still no luck widows vista didnt get full access so is it my windows 7 or vista problem i really wanna use my netbook wirelessly HELP!
